"Better than yesterday, Not as good as tomorrow"

It's hard to believe January is almost over.

The time is 11:42pm, Sunday January 21st.

I've spent the last few hours staring at the ceiling reflecting on another month of my life passing me by. When I think about it, "passing me by" is the wrong phrase to describe how this month has gone. I'd like to think I've done all that there was to do, and more, this month.

The right way to describe this month however, seems to elude me, and has done for the duration of time I've spent lying on my bed in the dark. To find the right phrase, I thought of all the neat things I've done this month. The NYE and New Years Day weekend. Big Day Out. The parties. All the money I've managed to save. The people I've met. Australia day.

I look back on all these things with a smile and the knowledge I lived those fleeting moments to the fullest.
